Child Struggling at School or Home?

Music therapy is different from traditional psychotherapy as we use music as the primary tool to effect change. Music-centered psychotherapy addresses issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma and self-expression. You do not need to have any musical experience for music centered psychotherapy to be effective.

Why music therapy?

There is a realm where music touches the heart and the soul and the spirit and the brain in ways that nothing else can. Where words fail, music can be a way through which they find their way through the darkness.

I Can photoWhat will a session look like?

There are different ways to address music-centered psychotherapy: It can be all music with little talk, or a combination of music and verbal therapy.

A typical session might include:

  • Dancing and Movement
  • Sandplay
  • Creative Arts
  • Music, singing, working with drums and rhythm
